Our speed staff is the most qualified staff in the Nashville area and follows a collegiate style program. The Six1Five Speed program includes a free, mandatory evaluation by our staff to determine an athlete’s skill level so we can effectively track their progress. Testing is documented throughout the program to keep a running scorecard of that progress. We not only focus on straight line speed, but also first-step and agility. Most sports include stop and go or change of direction. In our program, we will help you develop that quick first step to allow you to easily steal the base or outrun the cornerback for a touchdown. Regardless of your sport, speed, quickness and agility are a huge part of the equation and Six1Five Sports will help you perform at your absolute best. We’ve all heard the saying, “you can’t coach speed.” That statement is wrong. You CAN coach speed and we train athletes of all ages. It is true that not everyone is gifted with Olympic speed, but if an athlete can drop their 40 yard dash time from 4.7 seconds to 4.5 seconds through proper training, don’t you think that is noticeable on the field and by college coaches? Of course it is.  Speed is definitely a component of sports that can make you stand out among the crowd and give you greater success. If that greater success involves championships and a college scholarship in the end, it was well worth the effort.

Six1Five Speed Membership

We offer 2 and 3 day speed memberships to fit within an athlete’s busy schedule. An athlete sessions within their ability and age range, if there is space available. Space is limited to maintain optimal instructor:athlete ratio.

Sessions may be purchased individually ($25/session), but it is difficult to track progress with inconsistent training.  Becoming a member is much more affordable and with better results.

Each member is encouraged to complete the entire program (min 3 months) so they can perform their best in competition.

Because all athletes have crazy schedules, we have program flexibility to fit into your schedule. We have 2 & 3 day options for speed training and 2, 3 & 4 day options for strength training. We recommend at least 3 days of training in the offseason to help increase speed or strength. During the season, we recommend 2 days of training to help maintain your gains you worked hard for in the offseason. Come in and talk with us, call 615-754-5556 for Mt.
